This is one of the small Wenceslaus Hollar etchings in my collection, his work is so delicate and accurate but then as now it was hard to make a living as an etcher, he eventually died a pauper with everything taken except the bed he was dying on.

Wenceslaus Hollar Spanish lady
This is one of the small Wenceslaus Hollar etchings in my collection, his work is so delicate and accurate but then as now it was hard to make a living as an etcher, he eventually died a pauper with everything taken except the bed he was dying on.
